Nicholas Vernald

Nicholas Vernald is the current Head of Sales for US operations at Nuvocargo. Nicholas has over 17 years of experience in sales and executive positions within the transportation and logistics industry. Prior to joining Nuvocargo, they served as Vice President of Sales for the Central Region at Flexport from March 2019 to June 2022. Before that, they were Vice President of Sales, North America at Mainfreight USA from January 2015 to March 2019 where they were responsible for driving growth in their products between the US & Asia. Nicholas began their career in 2004 as a Strategic Sales Executive at C.H. Robinson Worldwide where they specialized in global supply chain optimization and US Customs compliance. In 1997, they started out in tech support at the North Shore Barrington Association of Realtors where they offered one on one technology training to real estate agents in the Northern Chicago suburbs.

Nicholas Vernald attended The University of Kansas, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies.

Their manager is Deepak Chhugani, Founder & CEO. Nicholas Vernald works with Claudio González - Head of Strategy, Jay Gerard - Head of Customs, and Alberto Castro - Head of Customer Experience.
