Ali Sheikh

Ali Sheikh is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in demand side management, project management, and data science across various industries. Currently serving as Manager of Demand Side Management at NV Energy since August 2018, Ali has played a pivotal role in designing and managing the Nevada Electric Highway program. Previous positions include Senior Project Manager at ENGIE Storage, where Ali oversaw commercial scale battery storage projects, and Project Controls Manager at Cupertino Electric, contributing to over 700MW of utility-scale solar projects. Ali's background also includes significant work in data science, developing machine learning and deep learning models at ILLUMINES COMMUNICATIONS, and project management roles at SolarWorld and within municipal projects in Los Angeles. Ali holds a Master of Science in Computational Mechanics from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University Northridge.
