Curtis McElwee

Curtis McElwee, CPA, has over two decades of experience at NV Energy, where currently serves as the Plant & Cost of Energy Director. In this role, Curtis McElwee oversees all accounting activities related to property, plant, and equipment, and serves as the Lead Witness for Rate Base filings with the state Utility Commission. Previously, Curtis held various managerial positions within NV Energy, including Manager of Fuel & Purchased Power Accounting and Manager of Plant Accounting. Curtis also served as Director of Business Services & Controls, focusing on financial reporting, accounting controls, process improvements, and performance measurement. Curtis McElwee earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Nevada, Reno, between 1984 and 1988.
