Joshua Carson

Joshua Carson is an experienced utility distribution design manager at NV Energy, employed since November 2021, responsible for supervising a design team across Northeast Nevada and ensuring a high level of customer service. As the principal owner of Omega Code Consulting LLC since September 2013, Joshua specializes in fire safety and building code consulting for rural municipalities in Nevada. Joshua served as the Fire Prevention Bureau Chief and Fire Marshal at the Elko Fire Department from August 2009 to August 2016, focusing on proactive community service and budget management. Joshua began a career in fire safety as a Fire and Life Safety Plans Examiner at the Sparks Fire Department from January 2005 to August 2009, engaging in code compliance and construction inspections. Joshua holds an education from Truckee Meadows Community College.
