Leilani Hinyard, PMP, CCEP, currently serves as the NERC O&P Compliance Manager at NV Energy, where leadership and oversight of compliance analysts and engineers are primary responsibilities. Leilani has been recognized with a Gold Spot Light award in 2024 for exceptional contributions as the Subject Matter Expert in Cyber Security – Personnel & Training. Previous roles at NV Energy included Sr. NERC Compliance Analyst, NERC Compliance Analyst, and Associate NERC Compliance Analyst, with accomplishments in implementing automated compliance controls and enhancing compliance assessment processes. Leilani's extensive background includes roles as a Business Analyst at PRO Unlimited and financial positions at Caesars Entertainment Corporation, Microsoft Licensing, DTE Energy, and Comerica Bank. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems from the University of Detroit Mercy and a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Finance from Wayne State University, along with completion of the Basic Compliance & Ethics Academy.
