Melinda Johnson

Melinda Johnson has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Melinda started their career as Vice President at Lizardos Engineering Associates, P.C. in 1989 and served in that role until 2006. In 2007, they joined Stantec as a Principal, where they led the MEP team in the Philadelphia office and was responsible for design, marketing, and financial achievements. After a decade at Stantec, they moved to STV, where they held various leadership positions. From 2017 to 2018, they served as Vice President of NY Operations in the B&F Division, and from 2018 to 2020, they were Vice President and Central Regional Manager in the same division, overseeing the financial goals and operations of a multimillion-dollar organization. Most recently, they joined NV5 as the Executive Vice President in 2020. Melinda's career has been marked by their expertise in project management, market sector growth, and financial achievements.

Melinda Johnson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering from 1987 to 1989. Melinda then pursued an MBA in Finance, General from Adelphi University between 1991 and 1993. Prior to that, Melinda completed an Associates Degree in Engineering Science from SUNY Farmingdale from 1984 to 1987. Additionally, they achieved certifications as a LEED AP from USGBC in 2001 and as a Professional Engineer (PE) from New York State in 1994.
