Elles Bulder

Elles Bulder has extensive experience in academia and applied research, currently serving as Lector Leefomgeving in Transitie at Hanze since January 2016, focusing on the relationship between humans and their environment in Northern Netherlands. Additionally, Elles Bulder acts as an Expert TNO for NVAO since February 2019, contributes to the Scientific Advisory Group Brede Welvaart N33 for the Ministry of the Interior starting March 2024, and holds a commissioner position at Roemte since July 2022, supporting social initiatives in Groningen. As a board member of Cultuurhuis De Klinker and former member of the Supervisory Board at Groninger Kerken, Elles Bulder engages with cultural preservation and community development. Operating the independent research agency that bears the name Elles Bulder since January 1994, Elles Bulder focuses on governance issues, while having held previous academic roles, including as a university lecturer at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. Educational credentials include a doctorate in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a degree in History from the University of Groningen.
