Vera Broek

Vera Broek is a multifaceted professional with a strong background in education and healthcare. Currently serving as a junior teacher and student assistant at Leiden University Medical Center since September 2018, Vera teaches microscopy, histology, and organ systems to Biomedical Sciences and Medicine students. Vera also contributes to higher education quality as a student panel member for the Dutch-Flemish Accreditation Organisation (NVAO) and represents patients in ongoing medical research at Radboud University Medical Centre Nijmegen. In addition to academic roles, Vera actively participates in the arts as a viola player in the semi-professional tango orchestra OTRA and holds editorial positions for medical publications and educational modules. Vera's educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Music from Codarts Rotterdam and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Leiden University.
