Giovanni Boccia Artieri

Giovanni Boccia Artieri is an accomplished academic and leader in the field of communication, currently serving as the Director of the Department of Communication Sciences, Humanities, and International Studies at Università degli Studi di Urbino Carlo Bo since May 2016. Giovanni also holds positions as the Coordinator of the PhD in Humanities Studies and President of the School of Communication Sciences. Additionally, Giovanni is the President of Santarcangelo dei Teatri and serves on the board of the SISCC - Società Italiana di Sociologia, Cultura e Comunicazione. As Chief Editor of Mediascapes Journal and a Full Professor at the University of Urbino, Giovanni has made significant contributions to the study of communication and media. Giovanni's educational background includes a PhD in Communication Sociology and Performing Arts from Università degli Studi di Urbino Carlo Bo and a Laurea in Political Science from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
