Carsten Ahrens

Carsten Ahrens is an experienced sales operations and marketing professional with a robust background in leading global initiatives. Currently serving as Director Global Sales Operations at nVent since September 2016, Ahrens is responsible for enhancing sales productivity and customer loyalty in a diverse range of products, including heat trace cables and critical equipment enclosures. Prior to nVent, Ahrens held the position of VP Sales & Marketing at Pentair, driving growth in the Hoffman product line across various global markets. Ahrens also accumulated significant experience at Hewlett Packard, where roles included Director of Business Operations for Asia Pacific and Director of Equipment Management and Remarketing, as well as various sales and marketing positions. Ahrens holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Academy of Economics in Hamburg.
