Gary G. Jing

Gary G. Jing, PhD, ASQ Fellow, is currently serving as Sr. Quality Manager at Onto Innovation, where responsibilities include managing the quality and improvement functions. Concurrently, Gary teaches Lean Six Sigma classes as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of St. Thomas and Minnesota State University, Mankato, while also providing specialized training through Sigma-way consultancy. Previous experience includes leading operational excellence and data quality at UnitedHealth Group and serving in various leadership roles focused on Six Sigma initiatives at CommScope, TE Connectivity, ADC Telecommunications, Entegris, and Seagate Technology. Educational background includes an MBA from the University of Minnesota, a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and degrees in Applied Statistics and Reliability Engineering as well as Mechanical Engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University.
