Maria Freking Nelson

Maria Freking Nelson, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Internal Audit at nVent, having advanced through various positions including Senior Manager, Finance Audit Manager, and Senior Finance Auditor since August 2019. Prior experience includes roles at PwC from September 2016 to June 2019, progressing from Assurance Associate to Assurance Senior Associate. Maria also gained experience as an Assistant in the President's Office at the College of Saint Benedict while earning a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the same institution from 2012 to 2016. Additional experience includes an Assurance Intern position at PwC in the summer of 2015 and an Assistant role at Truckwriters from 2010 to 2014.
