Kamal Bakshi

Kamal Bakshi currently serves as the Director of DC Storage Transport Solutions for Enterprise and AI/ML at Cisco, where responsibilities include AI/ML NVMe/IP storage architecture and leading the MDS/FC Storage Technical Marketing group. Significant achievements include obtaining a US Patent for Zero-Trust Dynamic Discovery and representing Cisco as a board member of NVM Express. Previously, Kamal held multiple roles at Cisco, including Principal Engineer, where focus areas encompassed datacenter technology evangelism and sales enablement. Experience also includes work as a DC Technology Evangelist at Arista Networks, co-founding 3NetAP, and technical roles at prominent companies such as Apple, 3Com, and AT&T Bell Laboratories. Kamal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and is a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).
