Stefan Maassen

Stefan Maassen is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in auditing and client advocacy. Currently serving as a Senior Internal Auditor at APG since April 2019, Stefan conducts operational audits focused on enhancing business quality and control. Additionally, Stefan is a member of the Cliëntenraad at Maastricht UMC+ since May 2022, where the focus is on representing the interests of patients. Stefan also holds a position with NVTZ since May 2021. Prior to these roles, Stefan worked at Deloitte Nederland from September 2006 to March 2019, advancing to Manager and overseeing a diverse client portfolio in both public and private sectors. Stefan's educational background includes a Post Master of Science in Accountancy and multiple degrees in Accountancy from prestigious institutions such as Maastricht University and Nyenrode Business University.
