Cory Beck

Director, Customer Experience at NW Natural

Cory Beck has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Starting in 1998, Cory worked as an Account Executive at Garber Advertising Agency before moving on to become an Account Supervisor at CMD Agency in 2000. In 2005, Cory joined NW Natural, where they served as a Senior Manager for Communications & User Experience, overseeing brand strategy, marketing, advertising, and digital channels. At NW Natural, Cory was responsible for directing cross-functional teams and driving business goals through customer experience initiatives and technology optimization. In 2022, Cory was promoted to the position of Director of Customer Experience at NW Natural, where they continue to lead the development and implementation of company-wide initiatives aimed at improving customer relations, satisfaction, engagement, and brand loyalty. In addition to their corporate roles, Cory also served as an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at Southern New Hampshire University starting in 2017.

Cory Beck has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Graphic Design from Oregon State University, which they obtained from 1990 to 1994. Cory then pursued further education and received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Marylhurst University between 2013 and 2015. In addition to their degrees, Cory also obtained the Utility Management Certificate Program from Willamette University in February 2011.
