Shawn M. Filippi

Shawn Filippi has a diverse work experience that spans over several fields. Starting in 1991, they worked as the Co-Director and Lecturer at Summer Debate Workshops until 1994. From 1994 to 1996, they were an Instructor in the Communication Studies Department at Portland State University. In 1995, they also worked as a Policy Researcher at Public Policy Research until 1997. Shawn then served as a Law Clerk in the Special Litigation Unit at the Oregon Department of Justice from May 1997 to September 1997. Following this, from 1999 to 2005, Filippi worked as an Attorney at Stoel Rives LLP. In 2005, they joined NW Natural as an Associate Legal Counsel and remained in that position until September 2010.
