Gabriel Rodriguez

Gabriel Rodriguez, P. Eng, currently serves as a Contract Manager / Engineer in Used Fuel Transportation at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization since August 2020, contributing to the development of a deep geological repository for Canada's used nuclear fuel. Prior to this role, Gabriel worked at Gyptech as a Mechanical Design Engineer from August 2018 to August 2020, where involvement included machine design and project development for large-scale industrial projects. At Bruce Power, Gabriel held the position of Component Engineer from July 2016 to August 2018, focusing on the monitoring and maintenance of rotating equipment within nuclear and conventional systems. Earlier experience includes serving as an Assembly Technician and Team Leader at General Motors from April 2013 to September 2015, ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards. Gabriel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ontario Tech University, completed in 2016.
