Liz Prendergast

Section Manager, Corporate Accounting and Reporting at NWMO

Liz Prendergast has extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Liz started their career as an Auditor at Ernst & Young in Toronto in 1988 and worked in that role until 1991. Following that, they worked as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young in Barbados from 1992 to 1993. Liz then returned to Ernst & Young in Toronto as a Senior Auditor for a brief period in 1994.

In 1995, Liz joined Ontario Hydro Technologies as a Senior Accounting and Financial Analyst and held that position until 1997. Liz then joined SAP Canada Inc. in 1997 as a Senior SAP Consultant, specializing in various modules including FI, Asset Management, and Retail POS. In this role, Liz implemented and supported financial solutions using SAP software across multiple full life cycle projects.

Most recently, Liz has been working at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization since 2011. Liz holds the position of Section Manager, Corporate Accounting and Reporting. Details about their specific responsibilities and the duration of their current role are not provided.

Liz Prendergast completed their high school education at Michael Power/St. Joseph's High School. After that, they pursued a degree in Accounting at the University of Toronto, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.). Additionally, Liz completed the Chartered Accountant program at the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants, earning the designation of Chartered Accountant. Liz also holds certifications as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and as an SAP Certified Professional (FI) from SAP.
