Richard Crowe's work experience includes positions at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization and the University of Toronto. Since 2010, they have worked as a Senior Scientist at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization, where they manage research and development programs related to the mitigation of long-term perturbations of the lithosphere and the analysis of rock cores for the Adaptive Phased Management Program. This project is a collaborative effort between the NWMO, Natural Resources Canada, and several universities in Canada and Europe. Prior to this, Richard worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto from 2004 to 2009.
Richard Crowe attended Keele University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology / Russian. Richard then went on to the University of Toronto from 2004 to 2005, earning a Master of Science degree in Geology. Subsequently, from 2005 to 2010, Richard pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Geology at the University of Toronto.
