Prof. Dr. Guda van Noort

Prof. Dr. Guda van Noort currently holds the position of Member of The Supervisory Board at Autoriteit Financiële Markten since September 2024 and serves as a Board Member for the SSH Domain at NWO (Dutch Research Council) from December 2023. Since August 2007, Guda has been a Full Professor of Persuasion & New Media Technologies at the University of Amsterdam, where responsibilities include directing the Program Group Persuasive Communication (PersCom) and overseeing the research and educational activities of approximately 55 faculty members. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the field of persuasive communication, and participation in advisory roles for various organizations including Kansspelautoriteit and SWOCC. Guda's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Communication and Organization Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Management, Economics, and Law, as well as further education from prominent institutions such as the University of Michigan and NCD Academy.
