Rares Matei

Rares Matei has a diverse work experience in software development and web design. Rares is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Nx since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Mentor at CodeYourFuture, where they taught workshops on JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Git, and React. Rares also gained experience as a Front-end Developer at Cambric Systems Limited from September 2018 to January 2020. Rares worked as a Software Developer at Morgan Stanley from August 2015 to September 2018. Before that, they worked as a Technical Consultant at Chillchaser Ltd and as a Software Developer at Iron Monkey. Rares began their career as a Software Developer at Microsoft, where they developed internal testing tools. Rares also worked as a Web Developer at Premier Fixings and Construction Products and as a Web Designer at PROTV SA.

Rares Matei began their education journey in 2006 at the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" National College, where they pursued a Bacalaureate Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Rares successfully completed this degree in 2010. Following this, Rares attended the University of Aberdeen from 2010 to 2015, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (MSci) in Computer Science.
