Michiel Staatsen

Michiel Staatsen's work experience starts in 1995, where they worked as an Assistant Project Manager at Ballast Nedam until 1997. From 1998 to 2000, they worked as a Consultant at Arthur D. Little. In 2000, they joined Dentiva as a Technology Director until 2002. From 2002 to 2011, they worked at Euroland Investments B.V. as an Investment Manager, focusing on M&A, strategy development, and restructuring. During this time, they managed various cases including Smithuis and Pré Pain industrial bakeries, Nijhuis Pumps, Norit Process Technologies, and Norit Activated Carbon. From 2012 to 2015, they served as COO at Pré Pain & Smithuis & Grand Duet. In 2012, they also worked in Strategy & Investment. From 2015 to 2016, they worked on Strategic Projects at ARYZTA Bakeries Europe & Asia Pacific. Starting in 2013, they served as COO/CFO at Grand Duet B.V. In 2016, they joined a company (unspecified) as a Strategy & Investment professional until 2019. Finally, since 2019, they have held various roles at NX Filtration, including CEO and currently COO.

Michiel Staatsen completed their education history as follows. In 1983, they attended Gymnasium Haganum where they earned a VWO degree. Michiel then attended Praedinius Gymnasium from 1985 to 1989 and received another VWO degree. Following this, they enrolled at Delft University of Technology in 1989 and completed a Master of Science (MSc.) degree in Civil Engineering in 1994. In 2001, they briefly attended INSEAD for the Young Managers Program.
