Pierre Matricon

Pierre Matricon is a Senior Scientist at Nxera Pharma since July 2021, following a role as a Research Scientist at Uppsala University in the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology from February 2016 to June 2021, where Pierre completed a PhD focused on molecular simulations of GPCRs under the supervision of Dr. Jens Carlsson. Prior experience includes a Master's thesis at Science for Life Laboratory, involving binding thermodynamics predictions for fragment ligands, and internships at the National Center for Scientific Research in Paris and Grenoble, where Pierre worked on therapeutic ligand interactions and molecular docking. Pierre holds a PhD in Structure-based GPCR ligand design from Uppsala University, an International Master's Degree in In Silico Drug Design from University of Strasbourg and Paris Diderot University, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry-Biology from Université Joseph Fourier.
