Davide Villa

Davide Villa is a seasoned professional in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as a Principal DFT Engineer at NXP Semiconductors since April 2023. Previously, Davide worked at STMicroelectronics for 24 years, where roles included DFT methodology engineer focusing on ASIC design, specializing in memory BIST architectures and hierarchical DFT flows, as well as CAD Engineer, developing design kits for mixed signal SoC designs with an emphasis on physical verification and spice simulation. Early career experience included a part-time position as a front-end manufacturing operator responsible for process defectivity control. Davide holds a Laurea in Ingegneria Elettronica from Politecnico di Milano and a Diploma from Liceo Scientifico "A. Banfi" Vimercate.
