Giribabu Sinnapolu, Ph.D. has worked in a variety of roles in the embedded software engineering and electrical engineering fields. From 2022 to present, they have been a Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Infotainment & Connectivity at Atlis Motor Vehicles. From 2019 to 2022, they were a Senior Software Engineer - IVI at Alpine Electronics of America, Inc., where they developed POCs using c/c++ on QNX, integrated QNX and Android built hypervisors using CAN stack, and performed software development and hardware integration. From 2017 to 2019, they were an Embedded/ Electrical Engineer - UX/UI at General Motors. From 2014 to 2017, they were an Embedded Engineer - Product Development (Electrical/Electronic) and a Software Engineer - Product Development at Ford Motor Company, where they were responsible for analyzing and developing technical solutions for embedded vehicle systems, exploring and developing next-generation in-vehicle connectivity software, and developing virtual prototyping for new electronic features. From 2014 to 2014, they were a Graduate Research Assistant (Master thesis) and a Center Stack Developer (in-car infotainment) at Wayne State University. From 2010 to 2014, they were an Embedded Engineer at Omniscient Electronics, where they were the first contact point to OEM production lines, responded to customer complaints, and worked on coding, configuration, validation, automated and manual testing.
Giribabu Sinnapolu, Ph.D. began their educational career in 2006, when they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University. In 2014-2015, they completed a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering - Thesis option (Mechatronics, Robotics, medical and Automation Engineering) from Wayne State University. Giribabu then returned to Wayne State University to complete a Master of Science - MS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Finally, in 2017-2022, Giribabu Sinnapolu, Ph.D. completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Oakland University.
