Michele S.

Michele S. is the Founder and Executive Director of Spectrum Warriors, established in November 2013, which provides non-judgmental support to the autistic community. In addition to leading Spectrum Warriors, Michele has served as an autism consultant and advocate since October 2013, facilitating training and awareness sessions for daycare providers and school staff. Michele also works with the NYC Department of Education as an IEP team member, supporting families during IEP meetings. As a special education and autism advocate for private clientele, Michele assists families in obtaining evaluations and accessing resources. Michele holds a degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from Penn Foster Group and is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching at Ashworth College. Past experiences include roles as a paraprofessional, assistant teacher, and community representative, highlighting a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for children with special needs.
