SVP, Business Operations & Chief Pharmacy Officer at NYC Health + Hospitals

Danielle DiBari is Senior Vice President of Business Operations and Chief Pharmacy Officer for NYC Health and Hospitals is responsible for unifying and coordinating the health system’s business operations, pharmacy and supply chain pillars. Danielle reports to the Chief Executive Officer, to identify and drive efficiency throughout NYC Health + Hospitals.

Danielle served as SVP of Clinical Operations and Chief of Staff for the Mount Sinai Health System from 2015-2019, where she identified and drove efficiency throughout the health system. In this position, she was responsible for unifying, coordinating, and operating the health system’s operational efforts to maximize their impact on the patients and communities served. Dr. DiBari joined the Mount Sinai System in 2015 from Northwell Health and prior, CVS/Caremark, where she held positions on the Corporate Management Team. Her varied career includes strategic planning; business unit development; project and product management; marketing and branding; system strategies; training and development program management and delivery; the management of multi-functional work teams; and customer service.

She has the proven ability to successfully analyze an organization’s critical business requirements, identify deficiencies and potential opportunities, and develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for enhancing competitiveness, increasing revenues, and improving customer offerings. She is a proven performer who moves easily from vision and strategy to implementation and follow-through. Danielle has developed an exceptional background in people and project management and a professional style based on excellent inter‐personal communications and an ability to make the best possible use of her personal network. Exposure to various business cultures and widely divergent professionals ensures her comfort level in working for a wide variety of organizations.

Danielle has a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St. John’s University, certifications from Harvard University for Project Management and served as a Healthcare Innovation Team Member at MIT.. She is the recipient of the 2015 Sacred Heart Academy Woman of Heart Award, 2015 Nassau County Executive Citation and 2009 National Highest Growth Revenue Award from the Industry of Retail Pharmacy. She is an active member of The Network of Executive Women, American Society of Health System Pharmacists, volunteered with CVS Health serving at national health fairs and served as member of the Project Management in Healthcare committee with Harvard University’s School of Public Health in partnership with Northwell Health. She is uniquely positioned to impact organizations’ productivity and long-term success, with her powerful vision of bringing purpose into the people equation to promote healthy, productive and meaningful work cultures.
