Janet Williams

Janet Williams, MS, RHIA, CHTS-IM, serves as the Assistant Director of Health Information Management and Record Management Officer at NYC Health + Hospitals since September 2015. In this role, Janet coordinates the Medical Record Committee's activities, conducts monthly HIPAA privacy and security assessments, and develops data analysis reports to support performance improvement initiatives. Previously, Janet has held various positions in health information management, including Health Information Management Manager at CenterLight Health Systems and Intervention Analyst at Montefiore Medical Center. Janet's career also includes work as a Medical Record Analyst and HIM Supervisor at Montefiore Medical Center and NYU Langone Medical Center, respectively. Janet holds a Master’s degree in Medical Informatics from SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
