Juanita Laurel

Juanita Laurel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in training and organizational development. Currently serving as the Payroll Training and Process Improvement Lead at NYC Health + Hospitals since April 2021, Juanita previously held significant roles at Century 21 Stores as Senior Manager of Training/Organizational Development and at Macy's as Manager of Learning & Development. At Century 21 Stores, Juanita enhanced the training resources for over 500 merchants and executives by developing various programs focused on soft skills and leadership. During the tenure at Macy's, Juanita led the growth of the MACYS.COM Executive Development Program into an omnichannel initiative, training over 200 individuals annually. Earlier career experiences include a role as Merchandise Planner at Rainbow Apparel, where store plans were created for an 800+ store chain. Educational qualifications comprise a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management from Nyack College and an Associate of Arts in Education from Medgar Evers College, CUNY.
