Katherine Laguardia

Katherine LaGuardia is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in women's health and public health. Currently serving as a Special Advisor at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and as an Attending Obstetrician and Gynecologist at NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation, Katherine has a strong background in clinical practice and healthcare leadership. Additionally, Katherine is the Principal at Gynopharma, focusing on biopharma and medical consulting in women's health, and has held numerous significant roles, including Chairman of the Fiorello H. LaGuardia Foundation and Commissioner at the Women's Refugee Commission. Katherine's academic contributions include serving as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and previously as an Associate Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College. Katherine holds an MD from The George Washington University and an MPH from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
