Rachael Morgan Peters

Rachael Morgan Peters serves as Chief of Staff at the NYC Mayor's Office of Community Mental Health since February 2023, focusing on improving equitable access to mental health services. Previously, Rachael held roles such as Director of Patient Engagement at New York Network IPA, Inc. and Senior Director of Test + Trace at NYC Health + Hospitals, where leadership included managing COVID-19 response efforts in schools. Rachael's experience also encompasses roles in public health advocacy at Peer Health Exchange, where as Senior Director, government relations increased the visibility of health education, and as New York Executive Director, expanded programming significantly. Rachael began a career in public health at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and has academic credentials including a Master of Public Health and a Master of Social Work from Columbia University, alongside a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University.
