Jill Starishevsky

Jill Starishevsky has extensive work experience in the field of criminal justice and public safety. Jill is currently working as the Executive Director for Policy and Justice Operations at the NYC Mayor's Office of Criminal Justice. In this role, they advise the Director on long-term crime reduction strategies and serves as a liaison with law enforcement officials.

Prior to their current position, Jill served as the Executive Senior Counsel at the Mayor's Office of Criminal Justice, where they focused on policy development and operationalization. Jill also worked as an Assistant Counsel to the Governor at the New York State Executive Chamber, where they provided legal counsel to public safety agencies and oversaw litigation and investigations.

Jill has a background in prosecution as well. Jill worked at the Bronx County District Attorney's Office for over 20 years, investigating and prosecuting various types of cases, including sexual assault and child abuse. Jill also played a role in training and mentoring junior assistants.
