Sophia Massie is an experienced professional in arts administration and education, currently serving as an Associate in Education at the New York City Ballet since October 2021, following a role as Assistant in Education. Prior to this, Sophia worked at the Calder Foundation as an Office & Intellectual Property Administrator and held an internship in development at Camille A. Brown & Dancers, where skills in database management and fundraising were honed. Earlier experience includes roles at Shuffles NYC, For the Many, Vassar College's Repertory Dance Theatre, McKool Smith, and the National Dance Institute, showcasing a strong background in fundraising, administrative support, and communication. Sophia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Vassar College and has studied French at Middlebury Language Schools.
