Cathleen Freitas

Cathleen Freitas has over two decades of experience in strategic sourcing and category management, currently serving as the Regional Category Manager-Americas and Global Buyer Specialties at Nye Lubricants, a member of the FUCHS Group, since October 2010. In this role, Cathleen focuses on strategy development and harmonizing regional suppliers and raw material portfolios. Previous positions include Manager of Strategic Sourcing and Purchasing/Buyer, where responsibilities encompassed global sourcing strategy, quality testing, cost analysis, and vendor management. Prior to joining Nye Lubricants, Cathleen worked as a Project Manager/CSR in the printing industry from 2000 to 2009, providing customer service support and managing various printing projects. Academic credentials include a Master Certificate in Advanced Procurement Management from Michigan State University, CPIM in Production and Inventory Management from APICS South Shore Chapter, and degrees from Bridgewater State University and Katharine Gibbs School in Business Administration and Executive Management.
