Andrew Rice

Andrew Rice is an Associate Scientific Project Manager at New York Genome Center since October 2022, responsible for guiding sample submission through the sequencing pipeline. Prior to this role, Andrew accumulated extensive experience at Yale University from November 2010 to October 2022, serving as Laboratory Manager in the Department of Immunobiology, where logistical tasks and advanced experimental techniques such as CRISPR/Cas9 and FACS were performed. Andrew previously held positions as Lab Coordinator/Research Assistant I and Research Assistant I in various departments, focusing on sample preparation and quality control for sequencing and gene expression. Andrew holds a Master of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of New Haven and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut.
