Jiayu Su

Jiayu Su is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at Columbia University in the City of New York and the New York Genome Center since September 2020 and February 2021 respectively. Prior experience includes a position as a Bioinformatics Engineer at GeneDock from June to November 2020 and a Research Assistant role at Peking University from October 2017 to July 2020, focused on computational single-cell genomics under the supervision of Dr. Cheng Li. Jiayu also interned at Harvard Medical School in the summer of 2019, conducting neutrophil single-cell transcriptomic analysis under Dr. Hongbo Luo. Jiayu is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Systems Biology at Columbia University, expected to graduate in 2025, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Mathematics from Peking University (2016-2020). Additionally, Jiayu participated as an International Student-At-Large at the University of Chicago in 2018.
