Jonathan Gaige

Jonathan Gaige is an Associate Scientist III at the New York Genome Center since November 2018, with previous experience as a Research Assistant at Stony Brook University's Veeramah Lab and Henn Lab, where contributions included optimizing DNA extraction protocols, developing age prediction algorithms, and analyzing genomic data. Prior roles include Group Research Manager at Borough of Manhattan Community College, where Jonathan managed bacterial research and supervised undergraduate researchers. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Evolutionary Biology from Stony Brook University and an Associate of Science in Physical Sciences from Borough of Manhattan Community College, as well as a certificate in Human Origins from the Turkana Basin Institute.
