Uday Evani is a highly experienced data scientist and software engineer specializing in bioinformatics, with an extensive professional background spanning over 16 years. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at the New York Genome Center since February 2013, Uday has previously held various roles, including Senior Software Engineer and Scientific Software Engineer at the same institution. Prior to this, Uday worked as a Bioinformatician at Baylor College of Medicine, contributing to the deployment of the Atlas2 variant calling suite and developing an INDEL variant caller for high-coverage whole-exome sequencing.
