Will Lounsbery-Scaife is a skilled bioinformatician currently working at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai since March 2024 and has been a research intern at the New York Genome Center since July 2022, where research focuses on 3D genome structure utilizing machine learning techniques. Previous experience includes a computational internship at Launchpad Therapeutics, where contributions were made to the development of monoclonal antibody treatments through geometric deep learning, and a role as a contract programmer at the Center for Social Media and Politics at NYU, where Will Lounsbery-Scaife created an automated web scraper and managed data storage on AWS servers. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Biomedical Informatics from Columbia University, earned in December 2023, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Computer Science from New York University. Prior education was completed at Stuyvesant High School.
