Milena Blaga

Milena Blaga has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and laboratory analysis. Milena started their career in 2014 as a Medical Laboratory Assistant at Quintiles, where they performed routine analysis and evaluated patient specimens. After that, they joined Charles River Laboratories in 2015 as a Senior Assistant Scientist, where they developed and optimized quantitative PCR assays for assessing gene and cell therapeutics. Milena later became a Study Director at the same company, managing projects and conducting pre-clinical research and toxicology testing. In 2020, Milena Blaga joined Nykode Therapeutics as a Project Manager in the Bioanalytical Sciences department. Overall, they have gained expertise in molecular biology, assay development, and project management.

Milena Blaga has a strong educational background in the field of genetics and medicine. Milena completed their MSc in Genomic Medicine from The University of Manchester between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Genetics from The University of Edinburgh, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Milena began their educational journey by completing high school at Istituto Magistrale "Vittorio Gassman" in Italy from 2007 to 2010, focusing on humanities and languages during this period.
