Pallavi Bhatta has a strong background in scientific research and leadership roles. Pallavi began their career at GSK as an Industrial Trainee in 2003. In 2010, they joined UCB as a Research Scientist and subsequently held positions as a Senior Scientist, Principal Scientist, and most recently, Senior Principal Scientist. Their work at UCB included leading the Antibody Generation group, streamlining the bispecific antibody platform, and providing therapeutic project leadership in the Novel Therapeutic Sciences Team. Pallavi's expertise in antibody discovery and their contributions to UCB's technology advances have been instrumental in enabling the discovery of novel dual targets for various disease areas.
Pallavi Bhatta earned a BSc in Biochemistry with a Year in Industry from Imperial College London in 2001-2005. Pallavi then pursued an MRes in Biochemical Research from 2005-2006 and completed their PhD in Biochemistry from Imperial College London in 2006-2010. Additionally, they obtained certifications including PRINCE2® 2017 Practitioner and PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from The Knowledge Academy in 2022.
