Magnus Sander

Magnus Sander is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in funding trading and market risk measurement. Currently serving as Head of Funding Trading at Nykredit since December 2024, Magnus previously held the position of Head of Market Risk Measurement at Norges Bank Investment Management from January 2016 to December 2024. Early career roles include work as an Analyst in Risk Measurement and a Teaching Assistant in Applied Econometric Methods at Aarhus University between 2012 and 2015, as well as experience as an Assistant Equity Analyst at Jyske Bank. Magnus’s educational background includes a PhD in Finance from Aarhus University and various non-degree studies at prestigious institutions such as the University of California, San Diego, and the University of Oxford.
