Jim Cook

Jim Cook has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Jim worked as a Co-founder at NymblScience, where they focused on improving balance in seniors through a smartphone delivery system. At m-Spark, they served as a Co Founder, accelerating and amplifying social innovation projects. As a Trustee at Make-A-Wish® UK, Jim contributed to the organization from 2014 to 2017. Jim also founded and served as Editor of MobiAD News, a mobile marketing and m-commerce platform. Jim was Head of International Development at Paythru Limited, where they played a crucial role in planning and managing the mobile payment service business. Jim held the position of Senior VP of Market Development at Cambridge Positioning Systems, overseeing partnerships, marketing, and commercial operations. As an Independent Consultant, Jim provided mobile technology and industry consultation. Jim also founded the European division of PacketVideo, a mobile video technology provider, and served as SVP-Managing Director, Europe. Jim's earlier roles include Director of E-Commerce, EMEA at Verifone - Hewlett Packard, where they grew the business and established partnerships across Europe, and various product marketing positions at Apple Computer, where they achieved notable successes in product launches and revenue generation.

Jim Cook has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.). Jim also holds an MBA from M.I.T., INSEAD, and the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Additionally, they have completed an Executive Management Program at INSEAD.
