Christopher Horrell has over 10 years of experience in the tech industry. Christopher began their career in 2000 as a Training Specialist and Technical Writer for Canadian Tire. In 2001, they moved to MMM Group, where they worked as a Technical Writer and Web Designer. In 2005, they took on a part-time role as a Documentation Specialist and Support Representative for Joyent. In 2010, they became a Lead QA and Release Engineer, as well as a Product Manager for Joyent. In 2015, they joined the Node.js Foundation as a member of the Docker Working Group. In 2017, they moved to Nymi as a Senior DevOps Engineer. In 2020, they joined Nylas as a Staff Site Reliability Engineer. Currently, they are a DevOps Architect at Nymi.

Christopher Horrell obtained a Bsc. in Psychology & English from the University of Toronto between 1994 and 1999. Christopher then completed a Post-Diploma Certificate in Technical Communications (Technical Writing) from Seneca College from 2000 to 2001. Finally, they earned a Certificate in Computer Programming Applications from Ryerson University between 2008 and 2010. Additionally, they have obtained four certifications from LinkedIn in the year 2022: DevOps Foundations, Kubernetes: Native Tools, Kubernetes: Package Management with Helm, and Learning Kubernetes.
