Elisabeth Bemm

Elisabeth Bemm is the Manager of Process Technology at Nynas AB, overseeing an R&D department focused on refining process technology for naphthenic specialty oils, utilizing lab-scale distillation and hydrotreating units. Prior to this role, Elisabeth held various positions at FOI, Totalförsvarets forskningsinstitut, including Deputy Research Director for the Systems Technology Department and Deputy Head of the Ammunition and Explosives Safety Department, where responsibilities included managing large projects and coordinating safety activities. Elisabeth also served as a Project Manager and researcher in the Energetic Materials Department, focusing on explosives and ammunition safety. Elisabeth began their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stockholms universitet and later worked as a Chemistry teacher. Elisabeth holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, both from the University of Gothenburg.
