Kevin Woo (Kalong)

Kevin (Kalong) Woo is a skilled medical laboratory technologist currently employed at Mackenzie Health since May 2024, while also serving as a data analyst at Nyoka Design Labs since May 2022. Their previous experience includes roles as a senior research analyst at Diteba, where Kevin completed the development of COVID-19 testing protocols and performed extensive product testing for GMOs, and as a research associate at Hyasynth Bio, where Kevin conducted high-throughput assemblies and screenings of mutant strains. Earlier career highlights include laboratory research assistant roles at University Health Network and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, where Kevin (Kalong) developed PCR protocols and assessed risks in agricultural research, respectively. Kevin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Waterloo and is currently enhancing their education at The Michener Institute of Education at UHN.
