Ari Rubinstein

Ari Rubinstein currently serves as the Branch Director at FEMA since February 2025, overseeing the Emergency Services Branch and the Region 2 Incident Management Assistance Team. Rubinstein has extensive experience in emergency management, having previously worked as an Emergency Management Specialist for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services from March 2008 to February 2025. Additionally, Rubinstein holds a paramedic position at New York Presbyterian Hospital since June 2006, complemented by a role as Global Health Security Specialist at EMERGILITY™. As an adjunct faculty member at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Rubinstein teaches clinical research and leadership. Previous roles include Senior Director at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and Director of Research and Regulatory Affairs at Collaborative Clinical Research, LLC. Rubinstein's educational background includes multiple advanced degrees, notably from Cornell University and The George Washington University.
