Ayesha Rahman

Ayesha Rahman serves as the Co-Director of Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery and as a Hand and Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital since August 2018. Simultaneously, Ayesha holds positions as an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Prior experience includes completing a Hand and Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgery fellowship at UCSF Medical Center from July 2017 to July 2018 and a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases from July 2012 to July 2017. Ayesha's educational background includes an M.D. from Georgetown University School of Medicine, a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery from the University of California, San Francisco, and degrees in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
