Germán Rodríguez

Germán Rodríguez currently serves as Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, a position held since June 2016, and previously directed Oncology Services at New York University Clinical Cancer Center from January 2010 to May 2016. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where Germán was a Nurse Leader in Ambulatory Care and responsible for a diverse team supporting GI Oncology and Melanoma and Sarcoma services. Early career experience includes various nursing roles at the VA Medical Center in New York, encompassing staff nurse positions and a Quality Assurance Specialist role. Germán holds a BSN from Catholic University of Puerto Rico, a Master’s degree in Nursing Informatics from New York University, and has also studied at One Spirit Interfaith Seminary, earning a degree in Interfaith/Interspiritual Ministry.
