Lystra M. Swift Dnp

Lystra M. Swift DNP, RN, CNOR currently serves as President of AORN New York City, Chapter 3304, since July 2024, and has held various leadership roles at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital since February 2018, including Vice President and Corporate Director of Perioperative Services. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Nursing and interim Executive Director of Perioperative Services at MD Anderson from December 2015 to January 2018, as well as Nurse Leader at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from October 2005 to November 2015. Earlier positions include Nursing Supervisor at New York University and Registered Nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital. Lystra M. Swift earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership from Case Western Reserve University and holds a Master's degree in Nursing Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from New York University.
